A TOUCH OF LACE 04/19/2012

A TOUCH OF LACEis the new challenge over at Nettie G's here is my card and Scrapbook page which I put into this challenge:
I coloured this in using my Promarkers and Copic markers. The flowers are from Wild Orchid, they do some amazing flowers, the lace was some I had in stock the doves are from my sister Barb in Canada, they are gorgeous aren't they?
Here I have used the Bride and the flower girl images, beautiful images from Nettie G, they are both from the 1909 era. The lace I made up from some net curtains I had, I cut a piece off then laminated it then cut out the pattern as it was so much easier once laminated, I must say I was very pleased with the end product. As always I coloured these images using my Promarkers and Copics. I do hope you will play along with this challenge.

Purple and Yellow
Happy Easter everyone! Our new challenge is Purple and Yellow and will start after Easter. t Crafting with Jack.

Here I have done two cards Design Team for this challenge as you can see below.
Picture
I just loved this image of the humming bird, I used a purple coloured swirly back ground paper for this which I love also. I coloured the image using my promarkers and once again I put the glitter on with a paint brush. I looked up all the different coloured hummingbirds and love this colouring the best. Hope you like what I have achieved for this challenge. I hope you will pop along and have a play also.
Crafting with Jack

Picture
I know this is pinks but I just love this image from Crafting with Jack I used my Promarkers to colour the image and glitter I put on with a brush. The back ground paper was one in my stock which was plain white with the flowing flower image down the side.

I really enjoy working on Nettie G's images they are so beautiful, The image I have used is called "Day Dreaming" I used my Promarkers to colour the image which I did two off as I decoupaged it, I had the fairy background paper in my stock and thought it would be perfect to go with this gorgeous little girl; who I think is so beautiful.
The photograph doesn't do it justice really as the colour of her skin was much pinker than it is showing, but hey we can only do what we can, I'm not that good at using the camera! I'm pleased to say that it takes nothing away from the beauty of the young lady *smile* I do hope you will go along to Nettie G's challenge and enter it yourself
